Launch Exit Factor in the Netherlands
A large share of Dutch small business owners are thinking about selling their businesses in the next few years, and most aren’t ready. They need help understanding what their business is worth, closing the gap to where it should be and preparing for a smooth transition to exit.
As Exit Factor’s Master License Partner in the Netherlands, you’ll build a national network of advisors who help owners increase profit, document their operations and build businesses that buyers want and that are easily transferrable.
The master License Model
A Proven Business Model That Works in the Netherlands
- Flagship Guidance: You open and run a flagship Exit Factor office using our proven programs, coaching tools and operating playbooks, training the advisors and franchise owners who follow.
- Flexible Opportunities: Every owner in the Netherlands, whatever the industry, will eventually leave their business. Exit Factor’s model works across sectors because the questions are universal: what is my business worth, how do I make it worth more, and how do I make it run without me?
A Proven 5-Step Process for Every Client
- Value. Establish what the business is worth today and set valuation goals.
- Optimize. Improve profit and performance with benchmarking and a dashboard to track progress.
- Record. Document the team, procedures and strategy so the business can run without its owner.
- Transform. Build growth, sales and marketing strategies that increase value.
- Exit. Advise on the right path, positioning and team for a successful exit.
Support at Each Step
- Market entry planning: Assistance in finding an ideal office location within the Netherlands’ key commercial districts.
- Programs and tools: Access to Exit Factor’s client programs, coaching tools, technology and operational playbooks.
- Launch team: Hands-on support from our team as you open your flagship and begin working with clients.

The Exit Planning Opportunity in the Netherlands
35% are considering a sale within five years
35% of Dutch small business owners are considering a transfer or sale within five years, but most are poorly prepared, according to the 19th Kleinbedrijf Index (Qredits, Hogeschool Utrecht and Ondernemersklankbord).
2.6 million registered establishments
The Dutch business register counted 2,599,668 establishments on 1 January 2026 (KVK). Every one of those owners will face an exit, whether planned or not.
Preparation is the gap
Owners who start preparing years before a sale can improve profit, reduce dependence on themselves and present a cleaner business to buyers. That preparation is what Exit Factor advisors deliver.
